What types of bank accounts can be added?

  • New bank account belonging to a partner bank
  • Archived bank account belonging to a partner bank and linked to the current customer


When adding a bank account for an existing customer or for a new customer, our system checks whether the Bank Account you enter in the form already exists in our system.

  • The Bank Account must be unique in our system.
    → Double registration is not allowed
  • If the system detects that this data already exists, an error message appears when you choose Save Mandate
    • Error message when the account number is linked to your branch  
    • Error message when the account is already linked to your office but under a different platform

Causes :

  • You or another accounting office may have registered the account incorrectly in the past.
    → To check whether this is the problem, you can search for the account in your CODA Mandates list.
  • If you have multiple platforms, you must also search on the other platforms.


Solutions :


The bank account is already registered with another client of your accounting office.The bank account is already registered with another accounting office.The bank account is already registered under another platform of your accounting firm.
Send an e-mail to Support@codabox.com to provide us with the correct bank account number and Client Code.

Indicate that this account is incorrectly registered with another customer, which means that you cannot link it to the right customer via MyCodaBox.
