Certain banks charge a separate fee on the bank account for the creation or retrieval of CODA. This charge is unrelated to the price of Codabox services.
Codabox has no control over these fees.
If a company has questions about this fee, they can contact their bank agency or relationship manager.
| ING costs for CODA | As from 28th August 2025, ING charges a monthly flat fee for retrieving reporting files (such as CODA) via the ING Accounting Connector, regardless of which software is used. If a current account has an active mandate for a third party (such as Codabox), ING charges this fee to the bank account at the end of each month (the first time on 31st August 2025). Details of these charges and other options are available on ING's website. | Since 1 May 2021, Belfius charges a monthly flat fee for the creation of CODA files, which contain all detailed information about transactions on payment accounts*. The pricing is part of the global Belfius offer and its additional services. The details of this rate can be consulted on the Belfius website. Belfius charges this fee for the creation of CODA to the account. This fee is charged regardless of the channel through which CODA is delivered. Stop CODA for an ING, Belfius or BNP Paribas Fortis account?
If a company wishes to stop CODA, created for the account as a result of registering a Codabox mandate, please follow the procedure How to archive a mandate and, after clicking on Archive, in the the pop-up below :
- Select 'Yes' to stop CODA billing from the bank to the accountholder.
- Check 'I understand the consequences of this action'.
- Click on Archive.
The cancellation of the service will be processed by the bank a few days later (timelines depending on the bank). From the following month, the charge will no longer be deducted from the account.
Important: If the accountholder still receives CODA via other channels, the bank will continue to charge the fees to the account.
