CODA


One-time administrative fees

★ This one-time fee is a fixed amount charged per mandate (per company and per bank), regardless of the number of accounts and type* of accounts (e.g. a combination of current accounts and savings accounts) activated via that mandate.
* Codabox does not charge administrative fees for savings accounts, provided they are requested together with a current account on the same mandate. If a savings account is requested on a separate mandate, the administrative fees will be charged following activation of that account.

Examples:
A mandate with 3 accounts for bank A➟ 1x the administrative fee
A mandate with 1 current account and 1 savings account for bank A➟ 1x the administrative fee
2 current accounts with the same bank and for the same company, but not requested at the same time➟ 2x the administrative fee

Price determination
A monthly cost is charged for each current account. The fee is based on a tier: a higher volume (more IBANs) means a lower unit price. To determine the applicable rate, the numbers for CODA, CARO and VOILA are added up at each billing cycle (for all companies you manage under 1 organization in MyCodabox).
Exceptions:
  • The monthly fees do not apply to savings accounts nor subaccounts: delivery is free.
  • The monthly fees are not charged for the first month of deliveries (activation CODA mandate).
  • For archived accounts, there is no pro-rata refund of the monthly fees for the unused days of the last (prepaid) month.

Example:

An accounting office with 

  • CODA service for 100 bank accounts,
  • CARO service for 100 client references,
  • VOILA service for 100 enterprise numbers.
➟ 300 in total, so the tier 'between 241 and 500 current accounts' applies to 100 bank accounts.

SODA

Applicability of the price
This monthly fee is a fixed amount charged per month/environment (accounting software), regardless of the number of companies in that environment for which SODA is active and regardless of the number of social secretariats from which SODA is retrieved.  
➟ If you work with 2 environments and have at least 1 company in each environment for which SODA is active, then you pay 2x the monthly fee for SODA each month. 
➟ Do you already have one or more companies with SODA on environment A and are you ordering SODA mandates for additional companies on that same environment? The monthly fee does NOT increase if you activate more than 1 SODA per environment. You will however pay the one-time administrative fee for each SODA mandate that is activated.


Note: The cumulation applicable to CODA, CARO and VOILA, does NOT apply to SODA.


Why are the fees for the SODA service so low?
Because the price does not depend on the number of companies on each of your environments. If you have 200 companies on one environment, the price remains unchanged, you only pay the monthly SODA fee once.

Examples:

Companies that you manage in Clearfacts are not taken into account in this calculation: VOILA is included in the Clearfacts subscription.

To determine the applicable rate, the numbers for CODA, CARO and VOILA are added up at each billing cycle (for all companies you manage under 1 organization in MyCodabox).

  • The monthly fees are not charged for the first month of deliveries (activation VOILA).
  • For archived VOILA services, there is no pro-rata refund of the monthly fees for the unused days of the last (prepaid) month.

Example:

An accounting office with 

  • VOILA service for 100 enterprise numbers (NOT managed in Clearfacts*),
  • CODA service for 100 bank accounts,
  • CARO service for 100 client references.
➟ 300 in total, so the tier 'between 241 and 500 enterprise numbers' applies to 100 enterprise numbers.

 * The price does not apply to companies managed in Clearfacts. Those enterprise numbers are also not considered when determining the tiered price for the CODA/CARO/VOILA services.



Important: Codabox cannot determine when the CODA, CARO or VOILA service is no longer needed for a particular company, credit card or bank account, e.g. when an account is closed or no more transactions occur on it. The service remains active (and is included in the calculation of recurring fees) until you deactivate it yourself via MyCodabox. 

When a company is no longer an active client of yours (bankruptcy, termination, etc.), you can archive the company in MyCodabox. This will immediately stop all mandates and services of this company.
