JULY

Welcome to our new partner: the social secretariat DPO.
New: Are you adding a company in MyCodabox? Then start with the enterprise number. From now on we'll automatically check the details in the European database 'VIES' and we'll fill in the company name and the full address. No more mistakes! More info.
Are you regularly checking whether the services you requested are already active? Via the filter options available for each service, you'll get a quick overview. The filter settings are automatically saved. Saves you time!
If one of your clients is taken over by a different accounting office or starts to manage its own accounting, you'll now see this in the list 'Outgoing transfers'. Contact the company directly in case of questions.

JUNE

The CARO tab now contains additional information to allow you to better manage and follow-up the CARO demands. You'll see the name of the bank and the date when the state last changed or when the invitation was sent. Move your cursor over the state for more info. Next to the bank name, you'll find a tooltip indicating which day of the month this bank issues files.

MAY

Did you receive your Codabox invoice via Wolters Kluwer in the month of May? You'll no longer get your invoice directly from Codabox. The account number to which the Codabox invoice is to be paid, is also changing as of May: please check the payment details.

New: Would you like to have an overview of your CARO activations so as to analyze your invoice? Download it yourself directly from MyCodabox, for the preferred month. Go to Mandates & Services > CARO and click CARO invoice details in the top right corner.

APRIL

Do you manage multiple MyCodabox environments? From now on, you can use the search box in the blue menu bar at the top to find the company you're looking for, regardless of which environment it belongs to. Click the search result to instantly open the company details.
Important: as of May 2025, invoicing for the Codabox services is done via Wolters Kluwer. From now on, you will receive the invoices from the address no-reply@einvoicing.wolterskluwer.be, or via Peppol, or from a Codabox-partner if that was already the case. Invoicing for the month of May 2025 will be slightly delayed. More info.
The account number to which the Codabox invoice is to be paid, is also changing as of May (unless you receive your invoice from a Codabox-partner). Please check the payment details.

MARCH

Do it yourself: Are you planning to use an additional accounting package? Codabox is a multi-software solution! You can now easily register a new environment yourself in MyCodabox: in the menu bar at the top, click Environments > New environment and follow the steps. You can then add companies and activate services. Delivery is set up according to your software. Check out our short demo about this!

FEBRUARY

New: Has your client still not signed the mandates, despite the emails Codabox already sent? Via MyCodabox, you have a number of options to encourage your client to sign, so you'll receive the CODA files faster. With one click on the blue arrow icon, Codabox resends the signature request via email to the account holder.
Demo: is your client experiencing difficulties signing mandates digitally? Our troubleshooting for signatories contains a new demo for Codabox-sign (e.g. KBC, ING) and a new demo for Twikey (e.g. Belfius, BNP). Discover how digital signing works in just a few seconds.
Are you ordering the CARO service for your client? Then the cardholder needs to confirm. This is now even easier! All your client needs is a recent credit card statement, the credit card and card reader. The service is activated in 3 short steps (for KBC customers it works differently: ask Kate in KBC mobile).
Following the reorganization of the social secretariats Ceges and (sister company) Coges, since January 13 all SODA mandates for Coges have been transferred to Ceges. For new SODA requests, choose Ceges.

JANUARY

Administrative change: following the acquisition of Codabox by Wolters Kluwer, as of January 2, 2025, the beneficiary on the Codabox mandate and the bank mandate changes to Wolters Kluwer Belgium NV. This change has no impact on your services. Requested mandates can be signed via the usual method. Existing, already signed mandates remain valid. More info.
Codabox is now in partnership with TwinnTax: if you're using the TwinnTax software to calculate managers' wages, you can now request SODA via MyCodabox. You'll receive the payroll entries directly into your accounting software.
Do you want to retrieve CODA from the past? From now on, the redeliver CODA request will immediately show you how many files you'll receive (per bank account). It also gives you more information about the possibilities and limitations of this functionality (e.g. files that were never sent to Codabox by the bank, are not available for retroactive delivery).

DECEMBER

Now on your dashboard: for KBC/CBC accounts: did your client cancel the bank link with Codabox? This means you no longer receive CODA for this account. If this happens, you will immediately see it on your Dashboard in MyCodabox. We'll also contact the account holder.
Does your client want to register on Peppol via Doccle? This certainly offers your client benefits. Moreover, the 'Doccle-Peppol integration' works perfectly in tandem with VOILA, so you will continue to reveive the purchase invoices in your preferred software! Read more about it here.
Are you ordering VOILA for one or more clients? Use our handy template (available in NL/FR) to inform them. This lets them know they will be contacted to activate the service.
New: Are you ordering a CODA mandate for your own company or is the legal representative with you? Then you can order the mandate and immediately proceed to signing!

NOVEMBER

Be sure to discover the section 'Did you know?', where you will find handy templates to inform your customers about the Codabox services you activate for them, among other things. For accountants who are just starting with Codabox, we also bundle a lot of information in 'Get started with Codabox'.

Do it yourself: Need to change the enterprise number of one of your companies? You can now do that yourself via MyCodabox.

OCTOBER	Welcome to our new partners: the social secretariat EasyPay and Uw Loonhuis NV. New: KBC/CBC activation for CODA or CARO is now easier than ever! Ask the account holder to type 'Codabox' in the Kate search field in KBC mobile.

SEPTEMBER

Welcome to our new partner: the social secretariat MEL HR.
New: Is the activation of your CARO request taking too much time? Via MyCodaBox, you can give the cardholder a nudge to give consent for the credit card statement service.
VOILA: If necessary, AND if requested by your client, you can indicate in MyCodaBox that the company does not need to receive the invoices via email. Do this only if your client is able to use the joint accounting software to track and pay the invoices on time.

AUGUST

Now on your dashboard! Service activation rate: via the dashboard you will discover for how many of your companies the service CODA, SODA, VOILA or CARO has not yet been activated. Activate new services or check why a requested service is not yet active (e.g. mandate not yet signed).
New: Are you merging with another accounting office (fully or partially) or are you changing your company registration number? Contact CodaBox in good time via our online form. We will make sure your services continue uninterrupted for all companies.

JULY

Welcome to our new partners: the social secretariats Solut, Office Sense and Centre des indépendants!
Update: Get your clients' sales invoices for free! On this page you will now find not only the list of compatible softwares, but also direct links your client can follow to establish the connection from their invoicing software.
Viva accounts and CODA: From now on, Viva will only work with Greek IBAN. For new CODA orders, the account holder must first request a Greek IBAN in their Viva account. With that IBAN, a CODA mandate can be ordered via MyCodaBox.

JUNE

As of June 6, we are switching to digital mandate signing. For the vast majority of new mandates we no longer offer a PDF, but a convenient signing link, which your client can use to sign via itsme, for example.
The mandate allowing CODA files to be sent from the bank via CodaBox to the accountant has received a new layout and was renamed from 'Teletransmission mandate' to 'CodaBox mandate'. It is also signed digitally from now on, for every new CODA order.
Want to transfer a company that is already registered with CodaBox, to your office? You can do so via the '+Add or transfer' option. You can also immediately ask for the redelivery of old CODA-files.
Move a bank account from one company to another, in the case of a company merger or an error? It's possible! Follow these instructions.

Integration of AXA Bank in Crelan between May 22nd and June 10th: temporarily not possible to order AXA accounts.
Would you like to change the address where we send your CodaBox invoice? From now on, you can do that yourself on MyCodabox via Administration > Organization info.
Digital signature of mandates: is a mandate to be signed by several people? It’s possible via Twikey.
CARO is now also available for Bank Van Breda! Activate CARO for Bank Van Breda accounts in MyCodaBox and receive the digital credit card statements in your accounting software.

APRIL

From now on, you can change your organization’s details (e.g. address) and your environment’s details (e.g. email) yourself in MyCodaBox. You no longer need to email Helpdesk to do this.
Manage your MyCodaBox access: you can now manage your own user details (name).
New: Are your MyCodaBox client details up to date? Check this regularly. Clients and/or bank accounts for which you no longer need services can easily be archived. That way you won't pay for closed accounts, for companies that have stopped their activities or are no longer your client. Questions about your invoice? You can find the answer here.

It's easy to link your Odoo software to CodaBox: follow our step-by-step instructions and receive CODA files directly in Odoo.
SMEs and accounting offices who use Exact Online need to follow a few configuration steps to receive CODA files directly in Exact Online. The instructions for doing this have now been clarified, with more screenshots. Follow the instructions that apply to your situation: SME or accounting office.

FEBRUARY

Brand new: Protect your account (and your clients' data) even better: activate two-factor authentication (2FA) in MyCodaBox.
Bank Van Breda now also supports CARO: Receive digital Credit Card statements. For requests made in February, the first CARO files will be delivered in March.
Did you know you can use MyCodaBox to keep your data up-to-date and detect any problems or delays? Stay on top of things and find out what you can solve yourself and when to contact your client.
Only for KBC/CBC clients: has your client not yet activated CODA/CARO in their banking application? Give these instructions to your client. They have recently been clarified, with more screenshots.

JANUARY

Does your software package have a built-in feature to connect to CodaBox (via API)? Then you can give your permission via CodaBox Connect. You can find CodaBox Connect in the menu bar at the top: Administration > CodaBox Connect.
Odoo now connects to CodaBox via the Connect API. Don't have an Odoo environment yet? Be sure to first request this from CodaBox to get started with Odoo. We'll send you the necessary documents and create your environment.
Following the integration of Bpost Bank into BNP Paribas Fortis in January, you can now order new bank accounts and mandates using the BNP Paribas Fortis data.

CODABOX NEWS 2023

DECEMBER	Manage users in MyCodaBox: From now on, you can appoint specific MyCodaBox users within your organization as admin. These admin users can manage other users and invite new users. Integration of Bpost Bank into BNP Paribas Fortis between 2nd and 21st January: Bpost accounts can temporarily not be ordered .

NOVEMBER

2 New MyCodaBox functionalities
1. User Management: You can now create, view and manage MyCodaBox users who have access to your organization.
2. Multi-environment: One MyCodaBox account is now all you need to access multiple MyCodaBox environments.
  So there’s no need anymore to log off and log in again to manage clients of another software. As long as the environments belong to the same organization you are part of, you will be able to access MyCodaBox of each environment.
